Granada junior Roland Ruckmann-Barnes placed second in the Division 2 boys final at the California state meet at Woodward Park in Fresno. Ruckmann-Barnes covered the 5-kilometer layout in 15:22.9 to help Granada secure second overall with 112 points. Ruckmann-Barnes improved 17 seconds from his Oct. 15 victory at the RoughRider Invitational at Woodward Park.
